My story
Attention Catahoula fans, Allie is ready to meet you! Allie is an 11 month old Catahoula Leopard Dog who weighs 65 pounds and has the sweetest face and demeanor. She came to the Kentucky Humane Society when she wasn't getting along with the other dogs in the home. Allie's foster family says "she is smart, calm, and cuddly. She loves to snuggle with us when we sit on the couch and spends most of the day sleeping. She never tries to steal any food of the counters, despite her big size. When around others, she is social and warms up to everyone very quickly after being a bit hesitant. She also knows how to sit, stay, and shake! She will come when you call her and turns around to make sure you're alright on walks with her. Allie rarely barks- only occasionally at other people/dogs on walks. She loves the quiet environment of our apartment currently, and even gets along well with our cat." Her fosters do think she would love a fenced yard to run and play fetch in, but hallway fetch will suffice if you don't have a yard. If Allie is your type of girl, come meet her at the Main Campus. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines.
