Floyd (Main Campus) Shepherd (Unknown Type) Adult Male in Louisville, Kentucky

My story
Say hello to the enchanting Floyd! This handsome three-year-old looks and acts like a blend of different kinds of Shepherds (and probably some Pyrenees thrown in for extra flavor). At 70 pounds, this lovebug is perfect for big dog lovers! Floyd was returned to the Kentucky Humane Society after years of love and companionship. Unfortunately, his owner developed an injury that made it impossible to care for Floyd any longer. They were heartbroken to give him up but know that there's a family out there for this sweetheart! Floyd has the perfect balance of serious and silly. With his roaming instincts, he desires to live in a home with a large fenced-in area that he can survey when he pleases; he is unsuited for apartment or condo living. But with his large frame, there's never a dull moment during playtime! In fact, Floyd does get grumpy if he isn't exercised enough. Floyd has been around children but hasn't lived with small animals like cats. He has lived with dogs, though! Since he can be picky with his canine friends, we want Floyd to meet any potential dog siblings prior to adoption. His previous family says Floyd is housetrained and knows several commands. If you're looking for a stable canine that is already used to living with people, give Floyd a visit! He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his shots.I came to the Kentucky Humane Society because my owner could no longer care for me. I miss being in a home and have a lot of love to give.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Floyd (Main Campus), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
