My story
Introducing the beautiful Domestic Longhair, Grateful! Grateful came to the Kentucky Humane Society because her owner could no longer care for her, and now she's on the search for her forever home! This darling 10-year-old began having litter box issues in her previous home when her family adopted a second kitty. Since she's been at KHS, she's been using the litter box just fine. Because of this, we believe Grateful may do best in a home where she could be spoiled as your one and only kitty. Don't worry, she's a lovely lap kitty who will keep you company 24/7! Her previous family describes her as "a very sweet and cuddly cat who is so patient and loving." Her previous family had the tips of her toes amputatued- a procedure commonly referred to as declaw. Grateful's adopter will need to be prepared to brush her mane daily, so she can stay healthy and tangle free. If a senior cuddle bug sounds like your purr-fect match, come meet Grateful at the Main Campus! She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. All she's missing is you!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Grateful (Main Campus), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
