Zachary (Main Campus) Labrador Retriever Adult Male in Louisville, Kentucky

My story
Say hello to the fabulous Zachary! This one-year-old pooch is quite the "designer breed." Can you guess which one? 60-pound Zach looks like a Labrabull! Okay, okay, we know a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier mix isn't exactly the most interesting mix out there. As such, Zach has developed some charm and zeal to make him stand out from the rest! Zachary came to the Kentucky Humane Society when his owner fell ill and could no longer care for a dog. He is still an active young dog and would love a family to play with. We have not seen how Zach acts around cats or children. He can be a bit reactive (barking) toward dogs, so we want him to meet any dogs prior to adoption to make sure it's a good fit and not just shelter stress. Because Zachary had an inconsistent schedule in his previous home, his housetraining skills aren't 100%. But with a consistent and patient family, the sky's the limit for his learning! Zachary is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his shots.I came to the Kentucky Humane Society because my owner could no longer care for me. I miss being in a home and have a lot of love to give.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Zachary (Main Campus), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
